Fairfield County, Connecticut
Those of us who live or work in Fairfield County, Connecticut, know that we are lucky to be in one of the most vibrant regions in New England. Originally settled in the 17th century, Fairfield County is endowed with a rich historical culture, which is still much in evidence through its famous stone walls, historic buildings, and traditional small towns. But the county is also a modern and exciting region, home to many top colleges and corporations.
Fairfield County is within commuting distance of New York City, and at the same time, it’s a gateway to New England. From exclusive Greenwich in the southwest corner, to the ‘Gold Coast’ towns of Darien and Westport, to the traditional New England towns like Ridgefield and New Canaan, to the bustling urban centers of Stamford, Bridgeport and Danbury, the county offers something for everyone.
In the catering business, we are fortunate indeed to be able to get out and meet, and work with, hundreds of Fairfield County people and businesses over the course of a typical year.
We have catered corporate events in Greenwich; outdoor weddings on the beaches
of Long Island Sound; parties at Bridgeport’s cabaret theatre; private celebrations
at exclusive homes in Westport; a barbeque for Disney in a Westchester park;
bar mitzvahs at Temple Israel in Westport, and numerous charitable events which
are a staple of the generous citizens and organizations of Fairfield County.
It has also been our privilege to cater events at renowned historical venues around Fairfield, including the Waveny House in New Canaan, the Lounsbury House in Ridgefield, the Tarrywile Mansion in Danbury, and the Penfield Pavilion in Fairfield. And, in our most recent venture, we are delighted to become the in-house, exclusive caterer for the beautiful Spinning Wheel Inn, in bucolic Redding Ridge, Connecticut.
While we provide catering services far beyond Fairfield County, from New York City to Rhode Island, our home base is this wonderful county in southwestern Connecticut. If you live or work here, and are planning an event, give us a call. And if you aren’t familiar with Fairfield County, come visit!
